The Name
I chose the name Cypress Wood Advertising because of its profound connection to resilience. In the biblical account of the Great Flood, Noah was instructed to build the Ark from gopher wood—which many scholars identify as cypress. It was selected for a specific reason: cypress is one of the few materials on Earth naturally resistant to rot, decay, and water damage.
The Foundation
While other woods would have given way under the pressure of a forty-day storm, cypress remained stable, durable, and buoyant. It was chosen not for its appearance, but for what it could endure. That principle is at the heart of everything we do.
